National Exchange Club
of Butte, Montana
P.O. Box 763
Butte, MT 59703
info@butteexchangeclub.org

The Butte Exchange Club meets every Tuesday at noon in the second floor conference room of the Resodyn Headquarters (Old Hennessy Building at 130 N. Main Street), using the entrance at 16 E. Granite St.

The National Exchange Club of Butte has been providing service to the community for more than 85 years. The club seeks a better quality of life for all people by promoting child abuse prevention, youth programs, and Americanism as well as awareness and service to the community.

Butte Exchange Club members have distributed more than 25,000 flags to children at Butte's annual 4th of July parade.

The Butte Exchange Club has a long history of service to Butte and the surrounding communities. The Club built the Butte Municipal Golf Course in 1927 and maintained and operated the course until 1937.

In 1928, the club installed the first airport landing lights at the Butte airport.

In 1930, we installed the first traffic light in Butte at the intersection of Park and Montana Streets.

In 1963, the Exchange Club started the
World Museum of Mining and we continue to support and assist that museum today.

We have sponsored Boys State delegates since 1949 and Girls State delegates since 1965.

Among our many civic support projects was the renovation of the old Fox Theatre into what is now the
Mother Lode Theatre.

The club contributed substantially to the
Chamber of Commerce Visitor and Transportation Center.

The Butte Exchange Club has raised thousands of dollars annually to support local youth and community activities.

We have been a major supporter and fundraiser for the community YMCA and Camp Mak-A-Dream.

We invite you to enjoy the rewards of service by joining with us. To find out more, visit our
membership application page.
